Dharma Punx Invade CIMC

For about the last month there has been a new Wednesday night routine for several of us Boston Dharma Punx. Starting at 5:30 we meet at Life Alive in Central Square, Cambridge for some awesome (and wholesome) food followed by a short stroll over to the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center (CIMC) for their Wednesday evening sit and Dharma talk program.  If you’ve never been to CIMC, or if you’re shy about going by yourself, this new little ritual might be a great way to get you started (and deepen your practice).  Personally I find it much more enjoyable to be there when I have friends around.

The CIMC program consists of a 45 minute sit starting at 6:45 and then a talk from a Dharma teacher.  Teachers include the CIMC guiding teachers (Larry Rosenberg and the Liebson-Grady’s), various monastics, and other teachers from the Therevada traditions.  For more information check out their website.
