Noah Levine Returns!
We will be Sitting on Easter
That’s right, just because this Sunday is Easter that doesn’t mean we can’t be mindful. Our regularly scheduled weekly sit and dharma discussion will be taking place as usual, 4pm @South Boston Yoga. The topic this week is the second foundation of mindfulness (I could have used that last week as I sat seething in rage during our sit). Hope you’ll join us!
Weekly Sit and Dharma Discussion 4/1
This week we will be doing a guided meditation from “Keeping the Breath in Mind”. This will be followed by a short discussion on the First Foundation of Mindfulness. Don’t miss it!

T-Shirt Design Contest
Okay kids, it’s time to design a new Boston DPX T-Shirt. Anyone who wants to have a go can submit a design by March 31. All designs will be presented online so we can all vote on the design we want to have made into shirts. My goal is to have the shirts available for sale in VT hence the short timeframe for designs. So, let’s see what you can come up with!
Weekly Sit and Dharma Discussion 3/11/2012
It’s time to sit with the misfit sangha once again. The topic this week will be starting over. Whether in practice or in life (or in my case, both), we have all experienced times when we have to reset and restart to get things back on track.
This week we will have 30 minutes of sitting meditation followed by 15 minutes of walking and a Dharma talk. There will be ample time for questions and discussion at the end.
The Return of Rebel Recovery
That’s right, Rebel Recovery will be making its triumphant return in March. Stay tuned for more info.
2nd Annual ATS East Coast Meditation Retreat
Against the Stream has recently announced the dates for the second annual east coast meditation retreat. The retreat will run from Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 5:00pm until Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 3:00pm.
his silent retreat with Noah and ATS Teachers, is a chance to experience an extended period of meditation that is so vital to our practice. There will be periods of sitting and walking meditation, with instructions and daily dharma talks.
Retreats offer the opportunity to move deeply into our experience and know the poignancy of the human condition and the capacity of the heart. This form of practice supports our deepest intention to be free. This retreat is especially good for those who are unable to get away for extended retreats or those who are in their first few years of practice. All are welcome to attend.
More info and pricing to follow as soon as it is released.
Studio change on 2/19
Just a quick note that we will be sitting on the first floor at South Boston Yoga this week, NOT the third floor. Everything else remains the same.
